The story is set some years after the Digimon World 1 event, there a human named Hiro with his partner digimon saved File Island and its residents. Hiro managed to get the digimons with memory loss or the rampaging ones back into File City and build it back up again. The city and digimon inside it have been doing fine for the last years, with lots of digimon visiting File City that lives at the outer areas on the island.
